Open standards · Shared infrastructure

Domain operations,
working together.

Help independently operated Internet services work together. We’re building neutral cross-provider coordination infrastructure, initially focused on DNS configuration through Domain Connect.

With participation from the core Domain Connect standards maintainers.

For service providers

Less friction between signup and a working domain.

Help customers connect domains to your website, email or application. The goal is to lower onboarding and support costs through shared infrastructure instead of repeated provider-specific work.

Customer brings a domain → Authorizes DNS setup → Connects your service

What we’d build together

Choose one onboarding workflow, define success criteria and help validate an integration as the infrastructure develops.

Design partnership and financial sponsorship are separate ways to participate—and can go together.

Where things stand

Help shape what gets built.

We’re in early design of the shared infrastructure and developer services. Registration distribution, provider integrations, DNSSEC automation and agent registry integrations—DNS-based and non-DNS-based—are proposed work, not a claim of production availability.

Design partners bring real workflows, help define requirements and validate integrations as they become available.

A public-good model

Free use. Voluntary support.

Inspired by Let’s Encrypt: nonprofit infrastructure sustained by organizations that benefit from it. Technical participation is independent of sponsorship.

The Foundation for Agentic Networks (FAN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides nonprofit administration. Sponsors can contribute through Linux Foundation crowdfunding; FAN is also an avenue for supporting academic research and development.
